罗宇杰工作室关注可持续的建造方式，主张以更少的材料，去创造更通用的空间。推崇以自然材料进行建造，运用木建筑（钢木装配式建造技术）进行了持续的研究和实践。探索如何更富创造力地解决一些社会问题（临时建筑如何实现最大程度上的再利用）。除了常规的工作室运营项目外，更致力于改善落后地区儿童的活动、学习空间；关注对（城市和乡村）废弃空间场所、废弃材料的创新再利用；推进基于朴门永续理念下的生态农场（社区）组织和搭建；参与和开展可持续理念下的建造营活动。

The studio’s exceptional works have been shortlisted and awarded with numerous design awards worldwide. These include the 2019 WAN Award for Wood in Architecture (Gold Winner), the 2019 ABB LEAF Award for Best Achievement in Environmental Performance (winner), the 2019 International Design Media Award Annual Exhibition Space Award (winner), the 2019 AR Emerging Architecture Awards 2019 (shortlisted), the 2019 A+ Awards for Concepts - Plus-Architecture +Technology (finalist), the 2018 WA Awards for Chinese Architecture WA Technological Innovation Award (shortlisted), and Dezeen’s Top 10 Chinese Architecture Projects of 2018.

罗宇杰

罗宇杰工作室创始人、主持建筑师,中央美院建筑学院建造课题教师。中央美院建筑专业博士（在读）、优秀毕业生、校友会常任理事。前BIAD-1A1创意中心总监、中国乡建院可续乡村工作室负责人。专注于可持续建造研究，对装配式木建造技术进行了持续的实践探索。
凭“胜利市场临时安置点”获得2020美国A+ AWARDS年度最佳设计大奖&临时建筑类别评审团大奖、“元和观村党群服务中心” 获得英国2020年Dezeen Awards年度最佳再生项目、“珑府生活体验中心”获得英国2019WAN AWARDS（世界建筑新闻网大奖）wood in architecture木建筑金奖、“珑府生活体验中心”获得2019LEAF AWARDS欧洲杰出建筑师论坛大奖Best Achievement in Environmental Performance最佳环保类别大奖、2019获得英国AR新锐建筑师奖入围奖、“珑府生活体验中心”获得2018WA技术进步奖入围奖、“珑府生活体验中心”入选2018年英国Dezeen中国年度十大建筑。
